Lionel Messi to Cristiano Ronaldo - Top 20 players who might play their last World Cup in 2022

Less than months are left before the 2022 World Cup kicks-off in Qatar and the excitement around the showpiece even is already at its peak.

The draw for the World Cup is done as the participation of 29 teams across the world is confirmed. Three nations will join the party after going through the playoffs round.

The biggest stars and the veterans in the world of football, namely Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric and Robert Lewandowski, will be featuring in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and in all probability will be their engame at the grandest stage.

Messi came agonisingly close to lifting the trophy in 2014 but missed out by a whisker as Germany beat Argentina in the final.

Let's take a look at the top 20 players who are likely to play their last World Cup in Qatar.
